  • by

1. Prepare the Turkey

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Pat the turkey dry with paper towels. This helps the skin crisp.

Rub the entire turkey with:

  • Melted butter
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Garlic powder

👉 Make sure to rub under the skin for extra flavor.

2. Roast the Turkey

Place turkey in a roasting pan.

Roast uncovered for 3 to 4 hours, depending on size.

Baste every 45 minutes with pan juices or melted butter.

👉 Turkey is done when internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) in the thickest part.

Let it rest for 20–30 minutes before slicing.

3. Make the Mashed Potatoes

Peel and cut potatoes into chunks.

Boil in salted water for 15–20 minutes until soft.

Drain, then mash with:

  • Butter
  • Warm milk
  • Salt

Whip until creamy and smooth.

4. Prepare the Cornbread Stuffing

In a pan, melt butter and sauté:

  • Onion
  • Celery

Cook until soft.

In a bowl, mix:

  • Crumbled cornbread
  • Cooked vegetables
  • Sage
  • Salt & pepper

Slowly add chicken broth until moist but not soggy.

Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30–40 minutes until golden.

5. Cook the Corn

In a pan, melt butter and add corn.

Cook for 5–7 minutes until warm and slightly golden.

Season with salt and pepper.
