1. Prepare the banana
Peel the banana and cut it into a few pieces. For a thicker, colder smoothie, use a frozen banana.
2. Add everything to the blender
Place the banana, rolled oats, whole milk, peanut butter, and cocoa powder into a blender.
Add honey and vanilla if you want extra sweetness and flavor.
3. Blend
Blend on high for 45–60 seconds, or until the oats are completely incorporated and the smoothie is thick and creamy.
If it’s too thick, add a little more milk and blend again.
4. Taste and adjust
Taste the smoothie and add a little more peanut butter, cocoa, or honey according to your preference.
5. Serve
Pour into a large glass and enjoy immediately.
For an even more calorie-dense version, you can add a few tablespoons of Greek yogurt, extra oats, or another spoonful of peanut butter.
Tip: If your goal is to gain weight, this smoothie can complement regular meals, but overall weight gain comes from consistently consuming more calories than your body uses.
