27-Minute Cheesy Bacon Stuffed Mini Peppers

  • by

1. Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

2. Prepare the peppers
Wash the mini peppers, slice them lengthwise in half, and remove the seeds and membranes. Arrange them cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.

3. Make the filling
In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, green onions, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until smooth and well combined.

4. Fill the peppers
Spoon the cream cheese mixture generously into each pepper half. Spread the filling evenly and slightly mound it over the top.

5. Add more cheese
Sprinkle a little extra shredded cheddar over each stuffed pepper for an extra golden, cheesy topping.

6. Bake
Place the peppers in the preheated oven and bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbling.

7. Broil for a golden finish
For an extra-browned topping, switch the oven to broil and cook for 1–2 minutes, watching closely so the cheese doesn’t burn.

8. Garnish and serve
Remove from the oven and let them cool for a couple of minutes. Sprinkle with chopped cilantro and a little extra crispy bacon if desired.

Serve warm and watch them disappear! 🥓🧀🔥
