Although it should not be considered a treatment for stroke, this herbal tea can be enjoyed as a warm, caffeine-free beverage.
Ingredients
- 8–10 fresh orange leaves (washed thoroughly)
- 1 small piece of fresh ginger (about 1–2 inches), sliced
- 4 cups (1 liter) water
- Honey (optional)
Step 1: Wash the Ingredients
Rinse the orange leaves well under running water.
Wash the ginger and slice it into thin pieces.
Step 2: Boil
Add the water, orange leaves, and ginger to a pot.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat and simmer for 20–25 minutes.
Step 3: Strain
Remove from the heat.
Strain the tea into a cup or pitcher.
Step 4: Serve
Drink warm or chilled.
If desired, add a small amount of honey for sweetness.
