Cloudy or yellow headlights can make a car look older, but more importantly, heavy oxidation can reduce the amount of light reaching the road at night.
You may have seen the viral trick of using toothpaste to clean headlights. It can sometimes improve the appearance of mildly cloudy plastic, but it is not a permanent restoration and shouldn’t be treated as a guaranteed fix.
