1. Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Line a baking dish or rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil for easier cleanup.
2. Arrange the lemon
Place the lemon slices in a single layer across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
3. Add the shrimp
Arrange the cleaned shrimp evenly over the lemon slices.
4. Make the butter mixture
In a bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, black pepper, and paprika if using. Stir well.
5. Pour over the shrimp
Pour the seasoned butter mixture evenly over the shrimp, making sure they are well coated.
6. Bake
Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 10–15 minutes, depending on the size of the shrimp.
The shrimp are ready when they turn pink, opaque, and curl into a loose “C” shape. Avoid overcooking, as shrimp can become rubbery.
7. Garnish and serve
Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Spoon some of the lemon-butter sauce over the shrimp before serving.
Serve immediately with rice, pasta, crusty bread, or roasted vegetables.
💡 Tip
For extra flavor, squeeze some of the baked lemon over the shrimp just before serving. 🍋
