Fresh Celery Green Juice – A Simple 3-Ingredient Morning Drink

  • by

1. Wash everything well

Rinse the celery, cucumber, and apple thoroughly under cool running water. Remove any damaged portions.

2. Cut the ingredients

Cut the celery into smaller pieces. Slice the cucumber into chunks and remove the apple’s core. You can leave the apple peel on if it has been washed properly.

3. Blend

Place the celery, cucumber, and apple into a high-speed blender.

Add about ½ cup of cold water and blend for 1–2 minutes until smooth. Add a little more water if necessary.

4. Strain if desired

For a smoother juice, pour the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth and gently press out the liquid.

If you want more fiber, skip this step and enjoy it as a thicker green smoothie.

5. Serve

Pour the fresh green juice into a glass and enjoy immediately. It tastes especially refreshing when served chilled or over ice.

Storage Tips

Fresh juice is best consumed soon after preparation.

If you need to store it:

  1. Pour the juice into a clean, airtight glass container.
  2. Fill the container as close to the top as practical to reduce air exposure.
  3. Refrigerate immediately.
  4. Shake well before drinking.

For the best quality and freshness, use refrigerated homemade juice within about 24–48 hours.

Easy Variations

You can change the flavor without making the recipe complicated:

  • Add a small piece of fresh ginger for a spicy kick.
  • Add fresh lemon juice for brightness.
  • Replace the apple with a pear for a milder sweetness.
  • Add a handful of fresh parsley for an extra green flavor.

A Simple Morning Habit

This celery green juice can be a refreshing addition to breakfast or a snack. It provides fluids and nutrients from fruits and vegetables, but it should not replace balanced meals or prescribed medication.

If you have diabetes, kidney disease, liver disease, or take medications that affect blood pressure or fluid balance, it’s a good idea to discuss regular consumption of concentrated vegetable juices with your healthcare professional.
