In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until the mixture becomes pale, creamy, and slightly fluffy.
Add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Whisk until everything is well combined.
Sift the cornstarch, flour, and baking powder into the bowl. Gently mix until you have a smooth cake batter with no large lumps. Avoid overmixing.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the surface.
Bake for approximately 35–45 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then carefully turn it out onto a wire rack.
Let it cool completely before slicing.
