Blueberry Yogurt Ice Cream

  • by

A creamy, refreshing frozen treat made with just 3 simple ingredients—no ice cream maker needed!

📝 Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain or vanilla yogurt
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 3–4 tablespoons honey (adjust to taste)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

Step 1:
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the yogurt, blueberries, and honey.

Step 2:
Mash the blueberries with a fork or blend the mixture until mostly smooth, leaving a few small blueberry pieces for texture if desired.

Step 3:
Stir well until the honey is fully dissolved and the blueberries are evenly distributed throughout the yogurt.

Step 4:
Pour the mixture into a clean, freezer-safe zip-top bag or piping bag.

Step 5:
Press out as much air as possible, then seal or tie the bag tightly.

Step 6:
Lay the bag flat in the freezer and freeze for 6–8 hours, or overnight, until completely firm.

Step 7:
When ready to serve, remove the bag from the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes to soften slightly.

Step 8:
Snip off one corner of the bag and squeeze the frozen yogurt into serving bowls, or scoop it out with a spoon.

Step 9:
Garnish with fresh blueberries, a drizzle of honey, or your favorite toppings. Serve immediately and enjoy!

💡 Tips

  • Use Greek yogurt for an extra creamy, rich texture.
  • Add 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for more flavor.
  • Mix in lemon zest for a fresh citrus twist.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks. Let soften for a few minutes before serving.
