Homemade Lemon, Ginger & Apple Cider Vinegar Drink

  • by

This refreshing drink combines lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, ginger, and a pinch of pink Himalayan salt. While it’s often shared online as a “homemade Mounjaro” drink, it’s important to know that it is not a substitute for the prescription medication Mounjaro and has not been shown to produce the same weight-loss or blood sugar effects.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups (24 oz / 710 ml) cold water
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (with “the mother” if preferred)
  • ¼ teaspoon pink Himalayan salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
  • Ice cubes (optional)
  • Lemon slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pour the water into a large pitcher or mixing jug.
  2. Add the lemon juice and stir well.
  3. Pour in the apple cider vinegar and mix until combined.
  4. Add the pink Himalayan salt and stir until it dissolves completely.
  5. Sprinkle in the ground ginger and whisk or stir thoroughly so it is evenly distributed.
  6. Chill the drink in the refrigerator for 15–20 minutes, or serve immediately over ice.
  7. Garnish with fresh lemon slices if desired and enjoy.

Serving Suggestion

  • Serve cold.
  • Stir before each serving, as the ginger may settle at the bottom.
  • Best enjoyed as part of a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.

Storage

Store any leftovers in a sealed glass container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Shake or stir well before drinking.

Note: If you have kidney disease, high blood pressure requiring sodium restriction, stomach ulcers, acid reflux, or take medications such as insulin or blood sugar-lowering drugs, consult your healthcare provider before drinking this regularly.
