Ingredients

  • 1½ pounds (680g) beef liver, sliced
  • 2 large onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ cup beef broth (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Optional: Soak the liver in 2 cups of milk for 30–60 minutes to mellow the flavor and make it extra tender.
